Yuri Karpov also designs and makes special work benches. Dimensions could defer from one to another to suite its purposes as well as a space in the area where the work bench is going to be placed.

A material was used to make the bench shown above is a northern pine tree. You can choose any other suitable material for your bench as well as any particular decorative futures such as inlay, marquetry, carving or exclusive joints to personalize your working bench.  Some examples of such also are shown below.

As long as it is a solid wood it should not create any difficulties to design and create a special bench for you (I prefer to work with wood instead of MDF or other wood product materials, exception is good quality birch plywood). Of course the price for the material (unless it is pine tree) is an additional cost as well as any decorative futures.
