This photo frame left has been made out of Cedar wood. |

It is still possible to see the wood on the rear side of the frame. |

The front and sides has been veneered with knife cut marquetry panel and strips. The ornament itself has been carefully designed (not adapted or copied from any other sources) by Yuri Karpov to suite the size and pattern of the main veneer – maple family. |

Five different types of veneer have been used to form the marquetry panel. Every corner detail has been cut separately to increase the level of precision and provides the best possible grain combination from all the different types that were used. |

The finish on front and sides is an alcohol based resin lacquer, applied by brash and followed by hand polishing technique. The rear side has been waxed in order to allow the sweet and pleasant odor from Cedar wood spread out in to the air of interior where this frame would be placed. The frame is for sale, it includes frame itself, glass, passportou and rear panel.
